The Agreement

When you install or use the Cuewise extension (the "Service"), you're agreeing to what's on this page. If something here doesn't sit right with you, that's okay — simply don't install or keep using it.

We've kept this short on purpose. Cuewise is free and your data lives on your device, so there's very little to fence off.

What Cuewise Is

Cuewise turns each new tab into a calm dashboard — a hand-picked quote, your focus for the day, reminders, a Pomodoro timer, focus mode, and gentle insights.

It's free to use, and everything you create stays on your own device. Our Privacy Policy covers exactly how your data is handled.

Using It Well

Cuewise is built for your own focus and calm. Use it lawfully, and please don't:

• Disrupt the Service or try to break into the systems behind it
• Reverse-engineer it beyond what its open-source license or the law allows
• Use it to break the law or step on someone else's rights

Optional Connections

A few features reach beyond Cuewise, and they only switch on if you turn them on. When they do, the other party's terms apply alongside ours:

• Google Calendar: connect it and Cuewise reads your calendar directly from Google, read-only, to show today's agenda. This follows the Google API Services User Data Policy — details are in the Privacy Policy.
• Newsletter: subscribe and your email is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Leave anytime.
• Backgrounds & media: focus-mode imagery and embedded media come from third parties (such as Unsplash and YouTube) under their own terms.

What's Yours, What's Ours

Everything you create inside the extension — your goals, notes, custom quotes, and settings — is yours, full stop.

The Cuewise name, logo, and look are ours. The source code is open on GitHub under the license you'll find in that repository.

Warranty & Liability

Cuewise comes "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or a perfect fit for what you need.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data. Since your data lives on your device, do export anything you'd hate to lose.

When Things Change

Cuewise keeps evolving — features may be added, changed, or retired over time, and these terms may shift with them. When they do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Cuewise afterward, that counts as accepting the updated terms.
